Cooper’s Seafood House hosted a crab bisque soup sale benefiting Meals on Wheels of NEPA on March 26. The event sold a record-breaking 912 quarts of crab bisque, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the local nonprofit. Meals on Wheels of NEPA provides older adults with nutritious meals, but their programs also ensure clients are checked on and have a friendly community member to chat with. The cost of one meal is about $6, meaning the $9,120 raised through the Cooper’s event will feed 1,520 community members.
