Walmart is planning to remodel dozens of stores in Pennsylvania this year, including several in the Philadelphia area.
It is part of a $518 million investment made in the state for the past five years.
The retail giant says it will expand its assortment of health foods and affordable on-trend items and enhance both the in-store and online shopping experience.
The remodeled stores will also have updated pharmacies offering vaccines and other clinical services and Vision Centers offering free cleanings and adjustments.
Local stores are on the list for upgrades include three in Berks and Montgomery counties, one in Bucks County and one in the Lehigh Valley.
