On March 29 a residential fire broke out at a home in Erie. That fire unfortunately claimed the lives of three young children.

On April 26 almost a month later the community is invited to join in prayer with the St. John Baptist Parish, for 5-year-old Tobias Huff, 3-year-old Da’liyla Huff, and 5-month-old Amirah Al-Mansouri who lost their lives in this devastating tragedy.

The gathering will be held at the site of the fire, 535 and a half East 26th Street at 4:30 p.m.

The Parish will be holding prayer for the families of the children and acknowledge the bravery of neighbor Brandon Lewis who tried to save them.

During the prayer service the community will offer gratitude and support to the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and all first responders who were on the scene.

The Parish hopes to recognize the emotional and spiritual weight that can come with being a first responder, hoping to bring some healing and peace.

This gathering will be a quiet moment of presence allowing the community to stand together in prayer and remembrance all while caring for each other.
