EASTON, Pa. – Following damage from a February fire, a popular barbershop has bounced back with a new location in Northampton County.

Precision Cuts Barbershop, in conjunction with the Easton Business Association, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at the shop’s new location, 240 Line St. on Easton’s South Side, according to a news release.

The new location, operating near Bravo Supermarket and Pino’s Pizzeria, features ample free, off-street parking.

Owned and operated by master barber Andy Vega, Precision Cuts’ new location marks a resilient new beginning following the closure of the business’ former location on Northampton Street in downtown Easton due to water damage stemming from a Feb. 20 fire at the neighboring Hotel Hampton.

Vega began his barbering journey more than 10 years ago when he opened Precision Cuts in a small location at 308 S. 18th St. in Wilson.

The Wilson location continues to operate along with the new Easton location.

“What began as a single-chair shop grew into a true family business, with Andy’s sons starting to learn the trade at just 15 years old,” the release states.

“Working alongside their father, they developed not only technical barbering skills but also a deep commitment to customer service, patience, and respect.”

Despite the challenges caused by the Hotel Hampton fire, Vegan remained determined to continue serving his clients and community.

Precision Cuts has now proudly reopened in Easton, offering high-quality haircuts, fades, beard trims, and grooming services in a welcoming, family-focused environment.

The barbers are well-known for their calming and compassionate approach when working with children, including those with disabilities, ensuring every client feels comfortable, supported and valued.

“Easton has a strong sense of community and genuine support for local businesses,” Vega said. “Reopening Precision Cuts here allows us to serve local families, build lasting relationships, and give back to the community that stood by us through difficult times.”

To thank the community for its continued support, Precision Cuts will offer free haircuts during the ribbon-cutting event.

Face painting and free pizza and drinks also will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m.
