On April 25 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. the Friends of the Erie County Library will hold a Spring Book Drive. The event will be held at the Flo Fabrizio Ice Center that is located near the Erie Zoo.
Those with book donations should drive through the Zoo entrance, turn right and drive through the parking lot to the Ice Center then exit on Cherry Street.
The organization has asked that all donations be packed in non-returnable boxes or bags. Volunteers will be in the area ready to collect donations. Donors do not need to leave their vehicles.
Used books, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, vinyl LPs and 45’s, video games and puzzles will be accepted. Encyclopedias, Readers’ Digest Condensed Books, textbooks, magazines, VHS tapes, or cassettes will not be accepted.

All donations collected during this event will be sold at the Great American Book Sale, seasonal sales, at the Bayfront Bookshelf at the Blasco Library or online here under the search “Bayfront Bookshelf.”
All proceeds for these sales benefit the Erie County Public Library.
