Over the past several weeks, the Scranton Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation, conducted a joint operation targeting a cocaine distribution network operating in the Scranton area, according to the Scranton police department.
As a result of this coordinated investigation, authorities seized about three kilograms or about six pounds of cocaine.
The investigation remains active, and additional details will be released when doing so will not compromise ongoing investigative efforts, police said.
Criminal charges are pending.
