Republicans from across the region gathered tonight for the Erie County GOP Spring Dinner.
Congressman Mike Kelly was among the speakers and addressed several national and international issues currently in the spotlight.
The Erie County Republican Party hosted its annual spring dinner at the Ambassador Center, an event highlighting party priorities and the upcoming election cycle.
Congressman Mike Kelly spoke with us about several major issues unfolding on the national stage, including ongoing tensions involving Iran.
“We’re all hoping it’s going to wrap up soon, but this has been going on for years. They’re the greatest sponsors of terrorism in the world, and we let it happen, president after president. I sat and watched it happen. This is a president who said enough is enough — we’ve got to stop,” Kelly said.
With the midterm elections approaching, Kelly said current events are shaping voter concerns and that both parties will be working to energize turnout as November gets closer.
