ALLENTOWN, Pa. – An Allentown high school was evacuated after it received a bomb threat.

Students at William Allen High School were led out of class Monday.

According to officials, the Allentown fire department, EMS, and police responded to the high school around 11:11 a.m. for a report of a bomb threat.

No bombs or other explosive materials were found during the comprehensive search of the building and adjacent school grounds, police say.

Students were later seen filing back into the building around 12:30 p.m..

It comes after two bomb threats at the same high school earlier this year. There were also two bomb threats reported this year at Trexler Middle School.

District officials reminded students that anyone responsible would face severe consequences.

This investigation remains ongoing and there is no immediate threat to the community at this time, according to police.
