An Allentown man accused of fatally shooting another man during a game of “quick draw” in November in a Catasauqua home surrendered to police Monday.
Samuel Rolando Colon, 25, of Allentown is charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault and several counts of recklessly endangering another person. He was sent to Lehigh County Jail without bail.
Colon is charged in the Nov. 8 death of Ti’Shaun Singleton, 19, at a home in the 200 block of Edward Lane in Catasauqua. According to the Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin Holihan, Catasauqua police and emergency medical personnel were called to the home at 4:37 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
Singleton, of Allentown, was found dead from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Investigators looked at security video from nearby properties that showed two people dragging Singleton outside and then running from the home. One person later carried him back inside, the footage showed.
Witnesses told police that Singleton and Colon were playing a game they named “quick draw” and both were armed with guns. As the men were playing, Colon shot and killed Singleton, according to the district attorney’s office.
Several other people, including a child, were in the home and nearby at the time, officials said.
