VisitErie Unveils a New Brand to Showcase Erie as a Four-Season Destination

Erie County is celebrating National Travel and Tourism Week with a series of free open houses at local attractions. From May 3 through May 9, VisitErie will host daily events offering free admission and special experiences across the region.

Participating locations include the Erie Zoo, Mazza Vineyards, and the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, among others.

Tourism plays a major role in Erie’s economy, generating $1.2 billion annually and supporting thousands of local jobs. Director of Communications for VisitErie Christine Temple says the week’s events spotlight the people and businesses that make Erie a special place to visit.

Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
