After another week of track & field action in Pennsylvania, it’s time to vote for the MileSplit Pennsylvania boys performer of the week.

This Week’s Nominees:
Grayson Pitman, Avon Grove 01 (Pennsylvania): Swept both throws at the Ches-Mont National Super Meet # 1, winning the discus with a throw of 191-0 and the shot put at 58-0. Led the week’s field in the discus among 187 competitors and ranked 5th among 213 shot putters.
Colin Sturges, Perkiomen Valley 01 (Pennsylvania): Posted a week-leading shot put mark of 60-6 at the Penn Wood Rap Curry Invitational, topping a field of 52 throwers. Also won the discus with a throw of 163-5.
Abaas Hunter, Episcopal Academy (Pennsylvania): Ran a state-leading 21.22 in the 200 meters at Inter-Ac #2 at Penn Charter. Clocked 46.48 to win the 400 at the Penn Wood Rap Curry Invitational, breaking his PR of 47.21 set at New Balance Nationals Outdoor. Also won the 100 meters in 10.78.
Matt Ribeiro, Phoenixville Area 01 (Pennsylvania): Won the long jump at the Shippensburg 99th Roddick HS Invitational with a leap of 24-0.5, a new PR that improved more than a foot from his previous best of 22-11.25. Also ran a PR of 11.15 in the 100 meters, taking second and breaking his mark of 11.32.
Jasper Shepps, Juniata 06 (Pennsylvania): Cleared 6-10 to win the high jump at the Shippensburg 99th Roddick HS Invitational, a new PR improving from 6-7. Won the 300m hurdles in 38.88, breaking his PR of 39.26, and took third in the 110m hurdles with another PR of 14.49. Set three personal bests at the same meet.
