Police trying to ID woman suspected of fraud at Discovery Credit Union in Berks

Spring Township police are trying to identify a suspect in a fraud at Discovery Federal Credit Union, 2744 Century Blvd., on Feb. 6.

A woman withdrew funds from the drive-thru ATM after deposits were made to a newly opened account. The deposits were then returned after they were found to be fraudulent, police said.

The woman was operating a silver-colored Kia SUV.

Police distributed an image captured from security camera footage of the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to submit an anonymous tip to Crime Alert Berks County. Cash rewards will be paid for tips that lead to an arrest.
