Millcreek Township Police say recent reports of suspicious individuals approaching homes are no longer considered a danger. After several calls from residents, officers made contact with the people involved and confirmed they were out‑of‑town solicitors, not suspects in any criminal activity.
Investigators say no crimes were uncovered. The individuals were advised to obtain the proper township permits and to be mindful when approaching homes.
Police encourage residents to continue reporting anything that feels out of place, and to call 9‑1‑1 in an emergency.
We have new images and video connected to the suspected man.
These are the images and video neighbors and police shared with us. As we mentioned, he is described as a white male, believed to be middle-aged, with shoulder-length curly brown hair. He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a light gray hoodie, and black pants.
One resident said the man claimed to work for Elev8 Energy, a solar panel company based in Chicago.
Neighbors told us he never showed identification and returned multiple times, even when “No Soliciting” signs were posted.
The investigation remains active.
