When you walk onto the grounds of Governor Wolf Historical Society, you visit the 18th century.

The 1795 Ralston-McKeen House and the 1785 Wolf Academy are the perfect backdrop for the historical society’s antique show. The period rooms, stone-cut fireplace and authentic hearth cooking demonstrations all complemented the 18th- and 19th-century antiques on sale.

The 17th annual event was held March 7 and 8 on the 6600 Jacksonville Road, Bath, campus. Each building contained vendors and their wares representing the 18th and 19th centuries. Attendees filled each room in both buildings with assorted antiques. Vendors were both local and from farther away. Luke and Alanna Villani traveled to this show from their home in Connecticut. This was their first time attending and presenting at this show. Luke said he found this show through the Bucks County Antique Dealers, who told him, “It’s a great event — quality products and serious collectors.”

Members of the historical society were on hand to answer questions and help guests navigate the buildings.

Board member Linda Kortz could be seen helping attendees find specific items, as well as answering questions. She commended the whole organization for making this event a success, year after year.
