Pennsylvania celebrated America’s 250th birthday with a one-day stop of “The Countdown to 250 Experiential Unit” at Spring Carlisle as part of the statewide festivities. The custom-built, interactive mobile experience allowed people of all ages to play games, share their stories, and learn more about Pennsylvania’s foundational role in the nation’s 250-year history. “It’s been really cool so far to see everybody just getting involved in the quincentennial,” said Kasey Elliott of America250PA. “One of our main goals is making sure that every Pennsylvanian from every county gets involved in this and has a special remembrance of it.” Spring Carlisle runs through the weekend.
