After years of planning and preparation, NFL Draft Week has arrived to the Steel City. The first round of the NFL Draft kicks off on WTAE Channel 4 at 8 p.m. Pittsburgh’s Action News Sport will give you the play-by-play on each pick in the video player above when the show begins.The second and third round of Draft picks will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday with remaining picks being selected starting at noon on Saturday. The First Pick There is already a front runner for who the Las Vegas Raiders are expected to choose for their first-round pick. Indiana Hoosier Fernando Mendoza has been the favorite for the first pick of Draft day. For that travel, it would be a lot easier to stay at home.”Raiders officials have signaled they would like to ease Mendoza into the starting lineup without expressly saying they will draft the player who won the Heisman Trophy and led Indiana to the national championship.Las Vegas signed veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins last week likely with the idea of him starting while Mendoza watches and learns from the sideline.
