Pringle Council president honored as ‘Citizen of the Year’ by WB/Scranton Elks Lodge #109

PRINGLE — Joe Barron, Pringle Borough Council president, was honored recently for his service to the community and support of lodge events for the community, youth, and veterans.

Barron was given a certificate of recognition for the Elks “Citizen of the Year” 2025-2026. He was also instrumental in helping raise a new American flag on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Elks #109 building, offering the borough’s support in raising the flag and repairing the flagpole.
