Expect plenty of April showers Saturday in the Lehigh Valley, but not a complete a washout.
Clouds and occasional showers will hang on through Sunday, with much cooler temperatures in the 50s both days.
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly predicts light showers before 11 a.m, then heavier rain Saturday afternoon. A high temperature near 51 degrees is expected, with winds 5 to 15 mph. The chance of precipitation is 90%, with between a quarter and half of an inch of rain possible.
Rain will continue overnight, before eventually tapering off early Sunday. The overnight low temperature will drop to around 39 degrees, according to the weather service. It will be windier with a chance of an additional inch of rain overnight.
Scattered light showers could linger through Sunday morning, before giving away to cloudy skies. The clouds are expected to clear by the early afternoon, with a high near 54 degrees.
Looking ahead to next week, more seasonable temperatures are expected, with highs in the 60s most days, according to the forecast.
Monday will start out sunny, before rain enters the forecast again, with a chance of showers expected Tuesday through Thursday, according to the weather service.
