WYOMISSING, Pa. – Despite the cloudy, damp weather on Saturday, some folks still got out in the fresh air and made the most of it.
Families flocked to Happy Hollow Playground in Wyomissing for the Earth Day Fair and Farmer’s Market.
There were educational stations where people could learn more about protecting the environment and wild animals.
There were also fun activities for kids, and Earth Day-themed goodies for sale.
“Like we have wild berries unlimited, and Daytoon is here serving food, we’ve got Bop Pop with cotton candy with natural dyes,” said Jessica Christman, Earth Day Chair for the Wyomissing Recreation Board.
If you missed Saturday’s event, the festival runs on Sunday too.
