OBITUARY
Kathy J. (Witman) Emerson, 79, of Sinking Spring, died Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Celebration Villa. She was the wife of Ralph Emerson with whom she shared 57 years of marriage on Aug 23rd.
Kathy, a daughter of the late Elmer and E. Grace (Hirneisen) Witman, was born in Reading. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Robert Emerson, Eric Emerson, and Joy Johnson; seven grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren; and a sister, Janice Imboden. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Witman; and a sister, Linda Troil.
Kathy was a graduate of Reading High School and retired after 40 years, having worked as secretary and treasurer of Transmissions by Arbogast and Emerson Real Estate.
