Each spring, the Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival presented by INFINITI transforms the heart of the area into a vibrant celebration of style, flavor, and community, drawing more than 50,000 attendees annually.
The festival showcases a mix of local businesses and national brands alongside live entertainment, fashion experiences, and fare from some of the city’s top restaurants—all of which is rooted in the spirit of “accessible luxury.” After a brief hiatus from 2020 to 2022, the festival returned in 2023 with a revamped blueprint, continuing its legacy as a fan-favorite tradition since its origins in the late 1990s.
Set for this Saturday, May 2, from noon to 5 p.m., this rain-or-shine event will feature a little something for everyone. The 1800 block of Walnut Street—home to the Starr “Block”—will anchor the festival with a lineup of culinary experiences: Barclay Prime will serve up caviar bumps, champagne Jello shots, Wagyu sliders, and shrimp cocktail, while Butcher & Singer will offer Fried Oyster Po’ Boys and Brown Derby cocktails. Nearby, Borromini will make its debut at Spring Fest with bite-sized Italian favorites like arancini, cannolis, tiramisu, and Aperol spritzes.
Continental Mid-Town will feature fan favorites like cheesesteak eggrolls and brookie ice cream sandwiches, while El Rey sets the tone for an early Cinco de Mayo celebration with tacos, elote popcorn, and margaritas. The Dandelion will don British bites like fish and chips, pale ales, and lemonade, and Parc will round it all out with pâté à choux ice cream sandwiches, basil-infused cocktails, and jambon beurre baguettes.
The festival will also turn Walnut Street into a 90s-inspired block party, complete with throwback DJ sets, lounge seating, and Bluecoat Gin cocktails. Nearby, Xfinity will add a family-friendly touch to the event with interactive experiences, tech showcases, and complimentary face painting.
There will also be other bites to try like burgers from Chef Eli Collins’ a. Kitchen, tomato pie from Pizzeria Salvy, and French pastries from Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse Square, plus, smashburgers, bagel sandwiches, kebabs, seafood rolls, pasta dishes, banana pudding and everything in between.
The Rittenhouse Row Festival will also feature cocktail gardens, community activations, and plenty to explore throughout the day, including an outdoor garden at Rouge, pours at Square 1682, and sangria from Jet Wine Bar, plus giveaways and self-care treatments.
At its core, the festival also celebrates community and creativity. Visitors can support local causes through initiatives like the Albert M. Greenfield School and connect with neighborhood stewards at Friends of Rittenhouse Square.
The festival will additionally highlight emerging entrepreneurs and local artists—like fashion-forward designs inspired by the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies and accessible works from InLiquid—alongside the women-led Sisterly Love Collective. For those seeking a more exclusive vantage point, the VIP tent hosted by Southern Land Company and The Laurel offers a “stylish retreat amid the buzz”, where tastemakers and local personalities will gather to celebrate the occasion.
