Scam emails have been circulating impersonating The Lehigh Conference of Churches, the organization said in a Facebook post Monday.
The most recent example came from churchcoffice1@gmail.com requesting a church member directory, the organization said.
The organization said it did not send the email. All official communications from The Lehigh Conference of Churches will only come from an email address ending in @lehighchurches.org, according to the Facebook post.
“We encourage everyone to remain cautious and verify suspicious messages before responding or sharing information,” The Lehigh Conference of Churches said in its social media post.
