A widely recognized and respected astrophysicist will be speaking in Erie on Wednesday as the latest headliner to visit Erie in the Jefferson Educational Society’s Global Summit Series.
Neil deGrasse Tyson will be speaking at the Bayfront Convention Center Wednesday night.

His presentation is called, “This Just In: Latest Discoveries in the Universe.”
Dr. Tyson is an expert in all things space-related, including cosmology, stellar evolution, galactic astronomy, dwarf galaxies and stellar formation.

The Jefferson Educational Society said Dr. Tyson is known for making complex scientific discoveries easy to learn, as seen in regular columns and TV programs.
General admission is $35 and doors for the event open at 5 p.m.
