WEST PITTSTON, Pa. — A flowery festival starts Saturday in Luzerne County. The West Pittston Cherry Blossom Festival is celebrating 55 years.
There will be more than two dozen vendors as well as food trucks and live music, with the cherry blossoms taking center stage. The event starts on Saturday at 11 a.m. with a parade.
On Sunday, there is a Little Miss Cherry Blossom contest. Organizers say there is nonstop entertainment throughout the weekend, including dance studios and bands. The West Pittston Cherry Blossom Festival runs through Sunday afternoon.
