READING, Pa. – Berks Catholic baseball is having the season most expected.
Coming off a state semifinal appearance, they are at the top of their division with a 10-4 overall record.
The Saints attribute their continued success to the confidence the team has in each other.
As we get closer and closer to playoffs, the team is hoping that they can keep playing their best baseball.
I feel like our biggest enemies are ourselves, like I feel like we can beat anybody it’s just a matter of staying within ourselves and you know, playing our best baseball and you know, when things adversity comes just staying together” senior Giovanni Disabatino said.
“I think the county is wide open right now. I don’t think there’s any overly dominating team that can just go through everyone. And it’d be cool to go back-to-back in districts, and I feel like we got a good chance and got a good team to do it” senior Dominic Valent said.
