USA Today has ranked Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom among the country’s best for two of its water attractions.
For the 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards, Runaway River and Wave Pool ranked No. 10 for best lazy river and best wave pool respectively, a Dorney Park news release announced.
“We’re thrilled to see both Runaway River and Wave Pool recognized on a national stage,” said in the release Ryan Eldredge, the public relations manager for Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. “Wildwater Kingdom continues to deliver the kind of summer experiences families look forward to every year, and this recognition reflects the unforgettable summer memories guests make here each season.”
Dorney Park will open May 8 for the 2026 season while Wildwater Kingdom will open May 23. It joins other nationally recognized attractions in the Lehigh Valley such as Musikfest, Christkindlmarkt and Coca-Cola Park.
