MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) – Marietta High School senior Trey Hawkins signed to join the Lake Erie Storm.
Hawkins is a four-year member of the Tigers varsity squad and was a big part of the Tigers program this past season. Marietta went 21-5.
The Lake Erie Storm are members of the Great Midwest Conference and are coming off an NCAA Division Two tournament appearance.
“I think it’s going to translate good, I play super hard, good defense, fast paced,” Hawkins said. “It’s just a super nice school and I really like the coaching staff and it’s a winning program and that’s one of the main things I wanted to go to a winning program so that was one of the biggest reasons.”
