Millcreek Township Supervisors have established a new committee to help guide the township through its change in government.
On Friday, the supervisors appointed seven community members to serve on the township’s transition advisory committee.

Last November, Millcreek Township voters approved a resolution to change the township’s form of government.
The township’s government is set to change from a three-member board of supervisors to a council made up of five part-time members, with a hired full-time manager.
Voters will determine who will serves as the five council members, during next year’s election.
Once elected, the council will then hire a full-time manager.
The new form of government is set to take effect in January of 2028.
