Q. What accomplishments are you most proud of and why?
A. I am proud of the fact that I passed my cosmetology licensing exam before turning 18. I am proud to have served as a peer mediator for Old Forge High School and as a student ambassador and president of the SADD club for Wilkes-Barre Area CTC.

Q. What were your most rewarding school or community activities?
A. I had the opportunity to organize the spread the love campaign to spread kindness and love to those in need during the holiday season. We collected donations of hats, gloves, warm weather wear, clothes, toys, and more for local homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, and the local women’s resource center.
Q. Do you have any hobbies? What do you do in your spare time?
A. I love to hang out with my friends and family. Whether it is going on drives or staying at home watching movies, my family and friends are the most important influences in my life. I also love to spend time with my doggies. I also enjoy doing nails; it allows me to be creative and practice for my career.
Q. What are your plans after high school graduation? Why did you choose this path?
A. I am thinking about getting a job in cosmetology. I really enjoy doing color, highlights and nails. I am also considering taking some business classes in preparation for opening my own business one day.
Q. What do you see yourself doing and where do you see yourself living in 15 years?
A. In 15 years, I would like to believe that I will have opened my salon in Florida. I hope someday to be married and have a family. I would also like to think that I would be able to have a lot of animals and my weekends off.
Q. Whom do you most admire and why?
A. I admire my Poppy; he filled a room without saying a word. His presence always made me feel warm and safe. He was quiet and calm, and even in the face of his illness, you would have never known that he was even sick.
Q. In a sentence, what is your philosophy of life?
A. Everything happens for a reason.
