Some people driving through Trumbull County on Friday morning witnessed a high-speed chase involving a State Trooper and local police
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that a Chevy Suburban with Connecticut license plates fled from a traffic stop in Girard along Interstate 80 around 11 a.m. Friday.
The Trooper gave chase at speeds up to 120 miles per hour.
The suspect exited into Hubbard, with local police joining the chase north on Route 62. The vehicle at times veered into oncoming lanes.
This video, submitted by a 21 News viewer, shows a black sedan being pursued by Ohio State Patrol vehicles in Hubbard Twp.

The pursuit continued along Chestnut Ridge Road and several back roads, eventually heading north on State Line Road.
The Patrol broke off the chase after the Suburban turned into Pennsylvania onto Ohio Street toward Wheatland.
Police in Pennsylvania were notified.
At last report, the chase suspect hadn’t been stopped. Authorities have the Chevy’s license number.
