Flights from Erie airport to Chicago postponed due to flight restriction order

Erie International Airport officials have announced that flights to the Chicago O’Hare International Airport have been postponed.

On April 20, the FAA announced a flight restriction order affecting direct flights from Erie to the Windy City.

United Airlines coming back to Erie International Airport

Both United and American Airlines have postponed flights.

United Airlines flights, originally scheduled to begin on June 1, will now begin on October 25, while American Airlines flights scheduled to begin on May 22 have been delayed until June 4.

Erie International Airport is not the only one to experience delays, as other small airports around the country are facing similar issues.
