Erie teen facing attempted murder charge over alleged shots fired at gas station
Erie police have charged a man with attempted murder in connection with a shooting outside an east side gas station last week.
Police charged 18-year-old Na’Sere McLaurin with attempted first-degree murder after he was identified in surveillance video as the suspect who allegedly fired multiple shots outside a gas station in the 2000 block of Broad Street back on April 22.

According to court documents, McLaurin was seen entering the gas station shortly after 3 pm when a black car pulled up and three people got out to enter the store. But upon spotting McLaurin, got back in the car to leave.
That’s when police said McLaurin could allegedly be seen pulling out a gun and chasing after the vehicle and firing multiple rounds.

Mclaurin was taken into custody on April 29 and was later arraigned before District Justice Paul Bizzaro and is being held without bail in the Erie County Prison.
No one was reportedly injured in the incident.
