Ducklings rescued after falling into storm drain in Bethel Park

MORE THAN 19,000 YEARS AGO, AND RECREATED VILLAGES AT THE SITE SHOW WHAT LIFE WAS LIKE IN THE 16TH, 18TH AND 19TH CENTURIES. Police and fire officials jumped into action on Sunday after multiple ducklings were found trapped in a storage drain in Allegheny County. Upon arrival, officials said a “momma duck was found in distress with one of her ducklings.” Officials said nine others were discovered inside the storage drain. Photos shared from the VFC showed police and fire officials working to rescue the ducklings. The post said all nine ducklings were successfully recovered and reunited with their mother. Police and fire officials jumped into action on Sunday after multiple ducklings were found trapped in a storage drain in Allegheny County.

The Bethel Park VFC said in a post on Facebook that police and fire officials were called after someone reported multiple ducklings had become trapped in the drain.
Upon arrival, officials said a “momma duck was found in distress with one of her ducklings.” Officials said nine others were discovered inside the storage drain.
Photos shared from the VFC showed police and fire officials working to rescue the ducklings.
The post said all nine ducklings were successfully recovered and reunited with their mother.
