Where: North Pocono High School.
How they got here: Delaware Valley defeated No. 7 West Scranton, 3-0 (25-6, 25-13, 25-12), and No. 3 Hazleton Area, 3-1 (25-27, 25-13, 25-15, 25-8). Williamsport, the District 4 champion, beat No. 4 Wilkes-Barre Area, 3-0 (25-17, 25-12, 25-15).
Up next: The winner of the match advances to the PIAA Class 4A first round and will play the District 11 runner-up on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Noteworthy: Delaware Valley is the District 2 champion in the highest classification for the 16th straight season. The Lady Warriors clinched the title as the top-rated team in District 2 with their win over Hazleton Area. Last season, Williamsport won the first subregional final in the program’s seventh year.

2-MMI Prep (8-14) vs. 1-Mountain View (11-12)
When: Wednesday, 30 minutes after the Class 4A final.
Where: North Pocono High School.
How they got here: MMI Prep defeated No. 3 Susquehanna, 3-2 (22-25, 22-25, 25-21, 25-14, 15-11). Mountain View beat No. 4 Lackawanna Trail, 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-14) in the semifinals.
Up next: The winner of the match advances to the PIAA Class 4A first round and will play the District 4 champion on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Noteworthy: Mountain View is the defending District 2 Class 1A champion. MMI Prep had wins over Mid Valley, 3-1, and Susquehanna, 3-2, in matches against Lackawanna League members. Mountain View beat Mid Valley, 3-0, and Susquehanna, 3-1, in its final two regular-season matches.
