ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley is inviting the community to its 6th Annual Spring into Giving food Drive.
The drive will be held next Wednesday, the 13th.
From 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., you can bring your donations to Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley on Sherman Street in Allentown.
The Spring into Giving Food Drive is also a night for networking with a happy hour. There will be vendors and tastings courtesy of a local brewery and winehouse.
Brightstar Care of Stroudsburg and Allentown Amedisys Hospice are partnering with Friends of Pete to host the “Helping Hour” to benefit Meals on Wheels.
They are looking for non-perishables like oatmeal packets, crackers, granola bars, fruit cups.
“The need is getting greater, costs are getting greater for everyone so the service we provide by fresh nutritious meals really makes an impact and keeps people healthy,” says Dina Kovats-Bernat, the director of development and communications for Meals on Wheels Greater Lehigh Valley.

And if you aren’t able to attend the drive on the 13th, you can still drop off food at the Allentown location in the days before and after the event.
