Upper Darby street blocked off after police respond to domestic-related incident
Police responded to an apparent domestic-related incident on Monday in Upper Darby, according to police.
Chopper 6 video showed officers outside a home near the 4600 block of State Road, with police tape blocking off part of the street.
Police told Action News the scene is secure and there is no ongoing threat to the surrounding community.

It was unclear whether anyone was injured. However, a radio transmission reviewed by Action News indicated there may have been a possible stabbing.
Ring doorbell video from the neighborhood showed officers rushing to a home on the block. Residents said they were shaken by the sudden police activity.
“I can’t believe that happened so close to home,” said neighbor Eileen Althouse.
State Road remained closed for several hours as investigators worked at the scene.
Action News reached out to Upper Darby police for additional details, but we have not heard back.
