The state of Pennsylvania has filed a lawsuit against an artificial intelligence company.
The lawsuit claims the company is deceiving people into thinking chatbots are real medical professionals.
The company is Character Technologies.
The suit wants to stop the companies chatbots from, “engaging in the unlawful practice of medicine and surgery.”
Character Technologies have not commented on the suit.
But it does post disclaimers on its website making clear the bots are not real people.
