Long John Silver’s and A&W torn down in Dickson City as renovation project begins

The restaurant along the Scranton Carbondale Highway has been demolished for renovations, according to police.

DICKSON CITY, Pa. — A restaurant in Lackawanna County is now a pile of rubble as a renovation project begins.

According to Dickson City Police, Long John Silver’s and A&W along the Scranton Carbondale highway is undergoing renovations.

Newswatch 16 found the building torn down, with only the sign left standing. 

It’s unclear when the restaurant will be rebuilt.
