NEW BETHLEHEM — Dr. Joe Harmon, a Teacher Fellow with the Korean War Legacy Foundation, will present a community program on the legacy of Korean War veterans at the Redbank Valley Historical Society.
The event is funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs under the National Cemetery Administration’s Veterans Legacy Program.
Harmon’s presentation will focus on the significance of the nation’s VA national cemeteries, the enduring legacy of Korean War veterans, and ways community members can participate in honoring those who served.
The program is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 11 at the History Center, 301 Broad St., New Bethlehem.
Parking is available along Broad Street and in the municipal lot behind the building.
Admission is free. Donations to support the Redbank Valley Historical Society will be accepted.
