Officials have identified an Alburtis man who died Thursday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Lehigh County.
Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said Luis Sousa, 39, died after a crash about 1:30 p.m. on Route 222 near Cetronia Road in Upper Macungie Township.
Sousa was riding a motorcycle that veered off the roadway and hit a steel cable barrier, according to a coroner’s office news release. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death was caused by blunt-force injuries, with the manner accidental.
Upper Macungie Township police are investigating the crash.
