If you have cards from years ago, they’re worth maybe a couple thousand bucks, a couple hundred bucks. It’s big money right now,” owner of Triangle Area Trading Cards, Adam Reynolds, said. “These are the jewels of the card world. You can take one of these Pokémon cards or Magic cards and you can go sell them next door and nobody is going to know because there’s no way to really trace it,” Reynolds added. The North Carolina business was able to recover most of the stolen cards with the help of police.
