Lenni Road: May 13 through May 27, 7 p.m. to 6 the following morning, a lane closure with flagging Sunday through Thursday between Lungren Road and New Road in Middletown and Aston townships, high friction surface treatment.

Interstate 476
April 27 through May 15: 8 p.m. to 5 the following morning, a weeknight lane closure on the ramps to northbound and southbound I-476 and to northbound and southbound U.S. 1 at the Exit 5 Interchange in Marple Township, bridge repair.
April 30-May 1: 9 p.m. to 5 the following morning, a lane closure on sections northbound and southbound between the U.S. 1 (Exit 5) and Media/Swarthmore (Exit 3) interchanges in Nether Providence and Springfield townships, pole installations.

U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike): through April 30, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weekday lane closure between Creek Road and Ring Road, Chadds Ford Township, for curb, ADA ramp and sidewalk installation.
Creek Road: through April 30, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weekday lane closure between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and Upper Bank Drive for curb, ADA ramp and sidewalk installation.
Eastbound Route 3 (West Chester Pike): through April 30, a lane closure 24/7 between the I-476 South off-ramp and Lawrence Road, Marple and Haverford townships, road reconstruction.
Near Delaware County
U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike): through July 31, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weekday lane closures in both directions between Greenwood Road and the Kennett Oxford Bypass, road construction.

Earlington Road: through Oct. 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays, closed and detoured between Mill Road and Wynne Avenue, utility construction
Aqua Pa. work
Eagle Road/Drexel Avenue: through April 30, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., closed and detoured weekdays between Glen Terrace and Dill Road, Haverford Township, for utility construction.
State Road: through July 31, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closed and detoured weekdays between Lansdowne Avenue and Hilltop Road, Upper Darby Township, utility construction.
Route 420 work
Into summer 2027: One southbound lane of the Route 420 bridge over the Darby Creek to be closed 24/7 as a four-year project to refurbish and replace that span continues.
Sellers Avenue bridge
Through summer 2027: the intersection of Ridley and Ward avenues will be closed and detoured 24/7 for reconstruction. During the closure, Ridley Avenue and Ward Avenue motorists will be directed to follow the posted detour routes.
Conchester Highway
PennDOT invites the public to attend one of three public meetings to learn about the proposed project to improve the Interstate 95/U.S. 322 Interchange in Chester and Upper Chichester townships, and the City of Chester.
Two in-person public meetings for the I-95/U.S. 322 Interchange Improvement Project will be held:
• April 28: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Upper Chichester Community Center, 1950 Market Street, Upper Chichester.
• April 30: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Chester City Hall Community Room, 1 E. Fourth St., Chester.
Construction is underway on a $63.4 million contract to replace the U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway) bridge over the CSX Railroad and improve a 1-mile section of the Conchester, including the adjacent Bethel Road Interchange in Upper Chichester Township.
Early construction activities in 2026 will focus on extensive work to relocate or replace numerous underground and aerial utility lines, water and sewer mains, fiber optic lines, and related communications facilities within the work area. No Section CSX travel restrictions are planned at this time.
In mid-2026, Stage 1 construction is expected to begin on foundations for the new bridge and improvements to Bethel Road. Roadway and bridge demolition beginning in spring 2027 will impact the westbound side U.S. 322 and the bridge over the CSX railroad tracks. Stage 1 work is expected to take approximately two years to complete.
The existing long-term travel restrictions on U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway), Route 452 (Market Street), and Bethel Avenue will remain in place through 2026 to accommodate roadway widening and improvements.
