OBITUARY
RuthAnn (Sickler) Allen, 76, of Moosic, died Friday at Geisinger Hospital, Danville.
She was born in Taylor and was the daughter of Raymond and Marion Pembridge Sickler. RuthAnn attended Bridgewater-Raritan West High School, Bridgewater, NJ.
She was a member of Moosic Presbyterian Church, was the chairperson of the Prayer Shawl Ministry and involved in many church activities. Her Church Family was very dear to her. RuthAnn was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed family vacations and holiday gatherings.
Surviving are three sons, Kenneth and Sharon of Effort, Scott and wife Vicki of Kunkletown and Ricky, Jr. of Leavenworth, KS, siblings, Raymond, Jr. of WA. Mary Smith of NC. She also has nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
RuthAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Allen who died in November 2022, a son, Kevin and a brother, Robert.
A dinner to celebrate RuthAnn’s life will be held at the Moosic Presbyterian Church, 625 Main Street, Moosic, PA – on May 23rd at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family or Moosic Presbyterian Church.
