S. WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. – Jim Schmoyer, the man who started a popular ice cream shop in the Lehigh Valley, has died.
Ice Cream World said in a Facebook post that its founder Jim Schmoyer passed away.
Schmoyer started the business in 1977.
Since then, “it has grown into a multigenerational family business which will carry on his legacy for many years to come. Rest easy Dad/Grandpa, we will take it from here!” the business said in its Facebook post.
