CAERNARVON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – People who love farm animals got a chance to get up close and personal with them on Saturday.

Weaver’s Orchard in Caernarvon Township hosted the second annual Highland Cow Festival.

A bunch of highland cows, pigs, sheep, and other baby farm animals were brought over from Swartz Farm so people could cuddle with them.

There was even a kiss-a-cow booth.

“That’s the goal — that people can come here, have a good time, especially people in areas where they’re not close to farmland, that they can have that farm experience,” said owner of the orchard, Ed Weaver.

Visitors also got to enjoy some good food, hayrides, a tube slide, and other family-fun activities.
