UPDATE (7:35 a.m. on Friday, May 8): Erie Police say that Danozjna Williams turned herself in to authorities late Thursday night.
According to online court documents, she’s being held in Erie County Prison on denied bail, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 28.

New information has been obtained in the case against the Erie mom whose children were trapped in a burning home and later died while she was allegedly out selling drugs.
According to an 8-page criminal complaint, investigators allege Danozjna Williams left her children unsupervised for almost an hour while she traveled to Corry to make a drug deal.
New details from the criminal complaint allege that while Williams was gone, a deadly fire erupted, trapping her children inside the East 26th Street residence. This information contradicts Williams’ initial statements to investigators regarding her absence and the children’s supervision.
Investigators assert that Williams’ initial claims to them – that she had only left her apartment for 5 minutes and that the children were supervised while she was away – are untrue. They state they have proof to support their allegations.
The criminal complaint details communication between Williams and a woman who previously purchased drugs from Tyler Huff. Huff, who is the biological father of two of Williams’ children, was incarcerated in the Erie County Prison on the day of the fire.
Williams and the woman arranged to meet in Corry for Williams to sell $300 worth of fentanyl and/or heroin, with the buyer agreeing to a $60 delivery fee.
Police confirm that recorded calls from the Erie County Prison show Williams and Huff discussing the drug deal multiple times before the fire. However, the transaction never occurred. Williams was driving to Corry when her landlord informed her that her house was on fire.
Her 5 and 3-year-old children were pronounced dead at an Erie hospital. Her 5-month-old was flown to Pittsburgh, where she later died.
