NOW, THE COUNTY IS WORKING WITH THAT COMPANY TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS OKAY. THE LETTER THAT THEY’RE GETTING, EITHER THEY’VE GOTTEN OR WILL BE RECEIVING IN THE MAIL, IS VERY SPECIFIC ON WHAT THEY NEED TO DO. THREE PRECINCTS AND 237 VOTERS WERE IMPACTED BY THIS MISTAKE. THOSE INCLUDE JACKSON TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY AND YORK HAVEN. WE SENT OUT JUST SHY OF 25,000 BALLOTS. SO CERTAINLY 237 IF YOU’RE ONE OF THOSE VOTERS, YOU KNOW, I’M SURE THIS IS FRUSTRATING, BUT IN THE SCHEME OF THINGS, VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF BALLOTS CONSIDERING 25, SOME 25,000 WERE SENT OUT. IF VOTERS HAVE ALREADY FILLED OUT THE WRONG BALLOT AND SENT IT BACK IN, THEY SHOULD FILL OUT THE BALLOT AND RETURN IT. AND IF THEY HAVEN’T VOTED YET, THE BALLOT CAN JUST BE THROWN AWAY AND THE NEW CORRECT BALLOT FILLED OUT AND RETURNED TO THE COUNTY ELECTIONS OFFICE. WE’VE SENT LETTERS TO ALL THE VOTERS THAT HAVE BEEN IMPACTED. FOR THE VOTERS WHO HAVE A TELEPHONE NUMBER ON FILE, WE ARE PERSONALLY CALLING ALL OF THEM.
