(WJET/WFXP)– Spring cleaning is underway and the City of Erie is giving residents the chance to get rid of large recyclables they’re looking to get rid of.

The city is hosting their annual tire and electronics recycling event this Saturday, May 2, from 9 am to 1 pm at the Municipal Garage Complex located at 1926 Holland Street.

Petitioners plan to voice opposition of Flock cameras at upcoming supervisor meeting

Residents can bring up to six tires per vehicle from passenger vehicles and light trucks, but no rims, along with TVs, computers, monitors, printers, keyboards, mice, speakers, and e-readers.

Construction debris and hazardous materials will not be accepted.

The city said the collection is for City of Erie residents only and a photo ID will be required.
