SCRANTON, Pa. — The Scranton Public Library system is holding its biggest fundraiser of the year next Friday. Swingin’ On Vine is a block party in front of the Albright Memorial Library. There will be live music, food, drinks, and dancing, as well as dozens of raffle baskets.
This is the 15th year for Swingin’ on Vine. The event is rain or shine, with all proceeds supporting Scranton’s public libraries.
The Scranton Public Libraries offer much more than books. You can check out anything from crutches to an acoustic guitar to a portable DVD player.
Tickets for Swingin on Vine are currently available for purchase at all Scranton Public Library locations and online.
