Get everything from essential household items to fresh groceries delivered right to your door in just 30 minutes or less.
Just last year, the company shared in a news release that it was testing “Amazon Now,” its ultra-fast delivery service in parts of Seattle, Washington, and Philadelphia.
Now the service is widely available in the City of Brotherly Love, Atlanta, Dallas–Fort Worth, and Seattle, with service also available and rapid expansion underway in dozens more U.S. cities, including Austin, Houston, Minneapolis, Orlando, Phoenix, Denver and Oklahoma City.
The company said Amazon Now’s selection focuses on the items customers need most urgently.
Customers can shop by category, including dairy and eggs, fresh produce, bakery, health, baby, pet, personal care, electronics, and alcohol, where permitted, with personalized product recommendations.
Amazon said it is using smaller fulfillment sites to cut delivery time, and has strategically placed them close to where Philadelphia-area customers live and work.
“Amazon Now is for when you need or want the convenience of getting your Amazon order delivered in 30 minutes or less,” said Udit Madan, senior vice president, Amazon Worldwide Operations. “With thousands of items available for ultra-fast delivery, you can get everything from groceries for dinner, to AirPods before a flight, to household essentials like laundry detergent or toothpaste delivered right to your door.”
If interested, customers can check the Amazon app and the homepage for the “30-Minute Delivery” option in the navigation bar.
Prime members get discounted delivery fees starting at $3.99 per order, while non-Prime customers pay $13.99. An additional small order fee of $1.99 for Prime members and $3.99 for non-Prime members applies to orders under $15.
